WMC- Educational foundation

(WMC-EF)

WMC for Investment and Project Management (WMC) established a subsidiary firm, WMC-EF, a joint venture with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), created to manage and operate all of WMC’s educational initiatives in Egypt.


WMC-EF now stands as one of the most ambitious educational platforms in the region, with international partnerships that extend across K-12, SEND education, and higher education.

ENTRY INTO EDUCATION


In March 2023, WMC entered into a landmark collaboration agreement with Wycombe Abbey International Limited (WAIL).


WAIL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Education Company Limited, manages the global expansion of the prestigious Wycombe Abbey School in the UK, one of the world’s leading independent schools.

The agreement granted WMC exclusive rights to establish Wycombe Abbey schools in the MENA region and Africa.

The first Wycombe Abbey School Cairo East is scheduled to open in September 2025.

WMC identified a 58,000 m² campus owned by Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) as the location for the first school.

Initially structured as a lease, the project evolved into a joint venture between ACUD and WMC, resulting in the establishment of WMC-EF, which now owns and manages all WMC educational initiatives.


The first Wycombe Abbey School Cairo East is scheduled to open in September 2025, serving as a flagship institution and the first step in a broader regional rollout.

Cavendish Education is a unique educational institution operating 11 SEND schools in the UK, offering independent day and boarding services for students from the age of five to 21.

At Cavendish, we aim to create a holistic environment that includes a school, training center, portal, and assessment center.

Building on our success in education, WMC has established a dedicated ecocsystem for SEND in partnership with Cavendish Education, which is a leading provider of specialized education, dedicated to supporting students with unique learning needs, including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, and autism spectrum conditions.
